Statutory Right of Revocation (§ 8 VVG, for life insurance § 152 VVG): You can revoke an insurance contract within 14 days without giving reasons; for life insurance, including pension and disability insurance, the period is 30 days. The period only starts once you have received the insurance policy, the policy conditions, the contract information and the revocation instructions in text form. Sending the revocation in time is sufficient to meet the deadline.
